Indiana Statutes

Quest has entered into an agreement with other software systems in Indiana to use the same codes and descriptions for the statutes.  This provides consistency across the state when transferring cases between counties.

The Indiana Prosecuting Attorney Council (IPAC) was tasked with providing the statute information to the state.  IPAC routinely sends updates on statute information.  Attached is the lastest spreadsheet.

The statutes listed are the "charging" statutes, not the penalty statutes.

As these statutes change, they are updated and loaded into each Indiana jurisdiction.  Many counties will request that a specific charging paragraph be added or modified and that can be accomplished by submitting a new ticket.  Each county's Quest Administrator is allowed to add or modify these charging paragraphs on their own.  They can be customized to match what your county prosecutor wants the charging paragraph to say.
